Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific

Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific. As Emile DeBecque.

After spending the day together at Emile DeBecque’s Villa, in the South Pacific, during World War II, Emile DeBecque (John George Campbell) sings Some Enchanted Evening to US Navy ensign Nellie Forbush, since they have just fallen in love.

I was happy to have the opportunity to perform this role. The songs are right in my wheelhouse, vocally. It’s a role that I would love to perform again, a few more times. I seem to be well suited for it.
